However, it is not uncommon for unemployed or underemployed women to be lacking the speaking and articulation skills needed. The charity helps women to be able to express themselves well and thus have a much better chance of actually getting a job.

Other services that are provided include a breakfast club, mentoring program, free workshops, career sessions and a networking group. These services help women to connect with other women who also need help. Those who are not able to find a job right away are able to benefit from professional advice, mentoring and encouragement provided by volunteers and Dress for Success’ former beneficiaries.
